One Pound a Month is a strategic initiative of the Hazara Academic Network (HAN) designed to provide sustainable, long‑term support for Hazara communities in the UK and worldwide. Built on principles of equity, empowerment, and resilience, the initiative creates a reliable community‑funded model to advance education, mental health, women’s empowerment, and grassroots development.

The Hazara people have faced generations of persecution and displacement, yet continue to demonstrate resilience and a strong commitment to education and civic participation. This initiative channels that collective strength by inviting every community member to contribute £1 per month, enabling fair, transparent grant funding for Hazara‑led organisations and projects.

Vision

A self‑reliant Hazara community where shared contributions create lasting opportunities, inspire innovation, and build a stable future for generations.

Mission
